Our daughter asserted herself tonight—as chef. She made the biscuits and was quite intent on getting due credit in the cookbook. It was credit that was well deserved.

Despite some illness, this has been an easier week for our family. There have been no late hours at work, no soccer practices and no homework projects. So we make good use of the extra time and enjoy a yummy meal.
