Corkscrew Bacon
We love to cook our bacon in the oven. There is no babysitting of the pieces, and it is easy for a large quantity of bacon. We twist the bacon when we place it in the pan to create a nice corkscrew look. Originally served as part of Bacon & Eggs.
Ingredients
- 10 strips bacon
Instructions
We start by pre-heating the oven to 425 degrees. We cover a large cookie sheet with a rim with aluminum foil. We place the slices of bacon one at a time on the foil, twisting the bacon as we lay it down.
When all the bacon is in the pan and the oven is hot, we place the bacon in the oven. We cook for 15 minutes and rotate the pan. We cook for another 5-10 minutes until the bacon is done to our liking.
We remove the bacon to a paper-towel lined plate with tongs and serve.
