Simple Herbed Oil
This is our daughter's first recipe! She loves dipping bread in the herb oil sauce at Bertuccis, so we come up with a simple version she can make herself at home. For additional flavor, fresh garlic and fresh herbs can be used. Originally served as part of A Daughter's Recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
- freshly ground salt & pepper
- red pepper flakes
Instructions
We pour the oil onto a saucer. Next, we sprinkle on the rosemary, rubbing it between our fingers. We freshly grate coarse salt and pepper and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. All we need now is good bread for dipping! We serve right away.
