A bunch of leftovers combine admirably in a hearty, yummy pasta dish. Pasta is always a good choice for us—especially when we have nothing else with which to work.

Our son, the baby and Robin went to visit Chris at work. We all ate at Chipotle, which our son has been favoring of late. He calls it the “rice and bean place”, because that is what he eats there. His little sister does reasonably well there as well—eating much the same stuff as her brother. The adults like it for the spicy food, especially with the chipotle Tabasco sauce.

We could have gone out for dinner, but Robin much prefers to save money. As usual we are all the better for it—both health-wise and for good eats. More often than not, before a meal, we wonder why we do not eat out more. Just as often, after a meal, we wonder why we ever go out.
