For the first Friday in Lent, we do what we can to keep things simple. And it doesn’t get much easier than eggs for dinner.
We eat a rather simple dinner, though we had thought to do a bit more. We fancied making a Thundercake for dessert. But, since the weather was clear, our son refused it as “not real”.
“I like the brown and pink”-our son assessing tonight’s roast beef. Both he and his older sister loved the roast beef, eating quite a bit of it. Naturally, we were quite pleased even though it meant that there were not nearly as many leftovers as we had expected.
